Queens Lane Capital is an Australian private equity investment firm focused on mid-market leveraged buyouts, growth equity investments, consolidations, carve-outs and turnaround situations.
A key focus is on investment in businesses which, for various reasons, are being operated or managed in a less than optimal manner or where company functions need to be established or rebuilt. We believe many such businesses have the potential for significant value creation through operational improvements or other proactive asset management initiatives.
Our aim is to work in partnership with ambitious entrepreneurs and management teams to realise the potential of each individual company for the benefit of all stakeholders.

We are active equity partners and work closely with ambitious management teams and entrepreneurs to drive transformational growth. Our team members relish the opportunity to roll up their sleeves and help get the job done.
We invest ourselves in each transaction and seek to properly motivate management teams via management equity. The combined effect is an alignment of interests which provides the right incentives to develop successful businesses.
We believe that for businesses that want to out-think and out-pace the competition, an entrepreneurial culture is a prerequisite. Our management teams are therefore encouraged to innovate, create and take balanced risks as they run their companies.
When evaluating investment opportunities and developing growth plans, we seek a knowledge advantage from detailed analysis which sheds light on a company and the context within which it operates.
Our focus is executable solutions that generate significant value. Working closely with management we develop and implement strategies for rapid growth, and are sharply focused on operational excellence, productivity and sustainable advantage.
Drawing on a vast network both in Australia and globally, we help connect our portfolio companies to people, new markets and other businesses. These introductions help accelerate growth.
Queens Lane Capital empowers businesses to grow by providing capital and expertise. We partner with business owners that need capital to grow, or are looking for a path to exit by selling part or all of their business. We also work with management teams that are seeking support in buying equity in businesses they have helped build. In each scenario we adopt a flexible approach and a straight talking communication style.
Queens Lane Capital offers Family Offices and HNW individuals the opportunity to gain access to mid-market private equity opportunities without being bound to blind-pool funds with 10-year commitments and ongoing management fees. Instead, investors can co-invest with the firm selectively on a deal-by-deal basis in opportunities that meet their particular investment criteria.
